The house is approximately 250 years old, and is restored to a high standard. There is a sunny patio with shade from an apple tree. The garden slopes down to attractive woods, with a 10m x 5m swimming pool in the centre, built and maintained to a high standard.

The garden is totally private, and birds and wildlife abound in the natural woodland. A variety of trees provide plenty of shade.
There is an open sided barn, which is used to shelter the car and as a wood store.
The surrounding countryside is green and attractive, with rolling hills and there are many delightful walks from the door.
