The apartment has its own entrance, deck, gallery study upstairs, open fireplace, wireless broadband and parking .

This is a perfect location to combine a climb on Croagh Patrick with a beach holiday ie. swimming, shore- fishing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, sea-kayaking . Close by are Golf Couses and Surfing Beaches as well as hill walking and bird watching areas.
Located between ( 6 km) the beautiful town of Westport- with its fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants- the quaint village of Louisburgh with the Pirate Queen Museum.

Both towns host various music festivals and other events throughout the year and Westport has many facilities such as indoor pools. spas and a cinema complex.
The Appartment is adjacent to the villages of Murrisk and Levcanvey, the gateway to Croagh Patrick with a couple of Pubs and Restaurants.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac lane under Croagh Patrick, a short stroll from the Blue Flag Beach, the
property enjoys an amazing Mountain vista and partial sea views.

other information: Accomodation: Besides the double bedroom there is potentially a Bed for a third person eg older child/teenager in open gallery overlooking living room - accessible by spiral staircase - not suitable for young children or people with walking difficulties. There is an extra charge of Euro 50 per week or Euro 35 for long weekend for third person staying - regardless of length of stay.
(Price per person / day / incl. services for 2 people in low season approx.15 EUR pp /day - high season approx. 21 EUR pp/day)

In Murrisk/Lecanvey die nahen Orte 1km weg - gibt es Pubs und ein Restaurant.

Das schone Westport hat eine grosse Auswahl an Pubs, Restaurants, Swimmingpools, Saunas und Fitness centres und eine modernes Kino complex sowie viele Musik Festivals .
Louisburgh ein paar km weiter westlich hat ebenfalls Pubs und Restaurants .

Das Ferien Appartment ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt den irischen 'heiligen Berg' Croagh Patrick zu besteigen (780 m hoch), die Clew Bay mit den vielen Inseln zu erkunden oder Trips im 'Wilden Westen' nach Connemara zu unternehmen.

Ein paar minuten zu Fuss ist der 'Blue Flag' Sandstrand 'Bertra' mit Sanddunen die 1 km ins Meer hineinreichen. 2 km weiter ist der Old Head Strand mit dem altesten ursprunglichen Eichenwald Irlands.
Swimmen, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Kajacking, Sailing, Meer fischen sowie viele gute Surfstrande in der Nahe.

Um Clewbay herum gibt es mehrere gute Golfplatze.
