Šilo is situated at the Nort - East of the island of Krk, the biggest island of about a thousand Adriatic islands. 30 km after the town of Rijeka you can reach the place by getting off the central road and over the bridge of Krk, which is connecting the island with the mainland. After a 20 km drive across the island you will reach Šilo. Šilo is connected by ferry ( 5 min ) with Crikvenica, a place situated on the mainland and very famous for its touristic riviera. The island of Krk has its own airport called " Rijeka ", so it is easy to reach by plane from Europe. Šilo is a typical touristic place ideal for holidays and recreation. Apart from the crystal clear sea, the island has many beautiful valleys with sandy and pebbly beaches ideal for swimming and sun - bathing. The calm sea with a fresh breeze during morning and evening hours gives the possibility for yachting, surfing, jet - skiing, rowing, sailing and others.

Fahren sie weitere ca 20 km durch die schöne Landschaft und sie kommen nach Šilo.Šilo kann man auch über das Meer erreichen, von Crikvenica, der bekannten turistischen Riviera kann man mit einem schnellen Hydro-gliser in ca 5 min. Šilo erreichen. Der Flughafen "Rijeka" befindet sich auf der Insel Krk, so hat sich diese Insel mit ihrem Status ins Herz des alten Kontinents eingeschlichten und ist die näheste Adria Insel in Europa. Das ist ein typisch turistischer Ort ideal für Rekreation und Ruhe.Neben den Sandstränden und kristalklarem Meer gibt es wunderschöne Badebuchten für die Badegäste.
